Warren Taylor

Warren obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Michigan Law School in 1981, and obtained his license in Texas in October, 1981. He began his career as an associate at Butler, Binion, Rice, Cook & Knapp (later Butler & Binion) where he had the privilege of being the last associate who worked for Frank J. Knapp before his retirement. Warren left Butler & Binion in 1986 to form Floyd, Taylor & Riley, where he was a partner for nine years. He started Taylor & Taylor (now Taylor, Taylor & Russell) in 1995.

Since 1992, Warren has been certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. He has frequently been selected by his peers as a “Super-Lawyer.”

He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Insurance Law and Litigation Sections of the State Bar of Texas.

Twenty-three years civil litigation and appellate experience including first and third party insurance defense, with special emphasis on fraudulent insurance claims and issues particular to insurance claims associated with estates; products liability, toxic tort, medical malpractice, prosecution and defense of premises liability cases including liquor liability; also prosecution and defense of employment discrimination cases.
